Our Beliefs

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

What we believe

God has a Purpose; and a Vision by which that Purpose will be fulfilled. Through understanding God's purpose and vision we can find clear direction and fresh motivation for our lives.

Purpose is essential to life

Every person has some purpose in life. Your understanding of that purpose comes by revelation from God, not by study and knowledge. It is not enough to simply read or hear about the purpose and then assume you know it.

As you hunger and thirst to be filled with the purpose of God, your heart and mind will be open fora revelation. Teachers can give you insight into the purpose of God, and other ministries can inspire you. But the source of this revelation is the Bible. As you read with an open heart the Holy Spirit will make God's purpose real to you.

Jesus's life displayed what it meant to be yielded to God's purpose.

PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11

"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Colossians 1:16-18

"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence."

Here at White Fields

We at White Fields Church, believe you were created to bring glory to God the Father. Desire is the key to understanding the Purpose of God ans making it your Purpose. Begin by asking God to reveal His Purpose to you. Ask Him to make you a son or daughter whose concern is for the honor and glory of his Father.

God's Purpose is not an abstract theory, but a motive and purpose that enters deep within us and motivates us in all we do.

First, each believer is to be conformed to the image of Christ, individually expressing the nature of the Lord Jesus. Second, all believers are to come into unity, as one body, corporately expressing the nature of the Jesus. Third, the Church is to go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to every creature.

What this means for you

You are always welcome at White Fields Church. Wherever in your faith journey, you'll always be accepted as part of the White Fields family.
